2006 - Volume 3

AgWare is pleased to announce our second web downloadable update. As many of you know, on July 1st, the 2006 USPAP changes take effect and also the existing FEMA Form 81-93, Standard Flood Hazard Determination Form, will no longer be valid. AgWare has been working on these changes to ensure that the UAAR Software stays in compliance. The UAAR FormsLibrary already meets most of requirements for the new USPAP Scope of Work rule. There are basically two changes that are being made for USPAP 2006 that affect the UAAR program.

The UAAR FormsLibrary already provides several forms that address scope, as that requirement as been in USPAP for several years. These forms can and should still be used to address the scope of work and the approaches used or omitted from the report. The UAAR QuickStart page still contains a field for "Assignment". This field was traditionally used to indicate a Complete or Limited Appraisal. We are not changing the QuickStart page at this time. However, the Assignment field has been removed from the rest of the FormsLibrary.

The following forms are updated with this release to meet standard changes:

  1. • Report Summary
  2. • USPAP and Organizational Reqmts
  3. • UAAR Restricted Use Report
  4. • Limiting Conditions
  5. • FTF Summary of Appraisal 1027A
  6. • FAMC Limiting Conditions
  7. • FEMA Flood 10-02

As part of the changes we are also providing a new look for the Executive Summary page that can be used to replace the current Executive Summary or Restricted Use pages. The new page is called "Rural Executive Summary" and removes some of the fields that were specific to productivity based agricultural appraisals.

More information about the FEMA change can be found on the FEMA Webpage for form 81-93.

More information on USPAP changes can be found on the Appraisal Foundation website.

Complete release notes for the UAAR 2005 Update 2 can be found at our Download page.
