The latest UAAR 2005 release has been sent out to our maintenance customers and we are pleased with all the improvements. The UAAR 2005 is packed with new forms and enhancements. The seven key areas of advancement are:
1. Special improvement descriptions with depreciation logic.
2. Reorganized Forms Library which will make it easier to find and use the 200 plus forms.
3. Enhanced narrative capabilities with the new forms – allowing the users to have more room for analysis and flexibility when writing reports.
4. Integration of comments from the DataLog to Cost Approach and Sales Comparison Approach forms.
5. Integration of fields from the QuickStart page to Report Summary, UAAR Irrigation Supplement Form 1025, Executive Summary Form 1030, and Restricted Use Report 1031.
6. Enhanced narrative and Cost Approach logic for Rural Residential appraisals.
7. Added ability to save the Appraisal Report data as a sales record.
A detail account of what has changed in this new version is available on the attached Word Document called READ ME for UAAR 2005, a shorter version, with Frequently Asked Questions, is also attached called README on UAAR 2005. The documents are also located on our website at www.uaar.net. Click on the Maintenance tab and it will lead you to the release information. We recommend that you fully read this section before installing the UAAR 2005 to clearly understand all the changes.
We are looking for users who are interested in working on improving the SARR (Standard Appraisal Review Report) portion of our program. Our intention is to make the SARR more flexible and efficient. If you would like to participate in the task force or if you have input on changes or enhancements please email us at SARR Task Force.
One issue that we want to bring to your attention in this version is that when you want to uncheck a check box you will have to select the box and press either the spacebar or the Delete key to clear the check box. We will be fixing this issue in the next release. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
If you have questions on this tip or other tips that you would like to share please e-mail us at agware@uaar.net.
