The first change that you will notice is the DataLog and ClickFORMS have been split into two separate programs. Your Desktop or Windows Start Menu will contain two different icons. The ClickFORMS Icon is the same yellow form with a blue mouse cursor. The UAAR DataLog icon is a wooden Sales sign.

UAAR DataLog
In ClickFORMS the "UAAR" menu item has been replaced with the "DataLog" menu. It contains
a single option to Launch the UAAR DataLog. This will just run the DataLog program. The
concept of attaching to a specific database has been removed. The DataLog knows where the
sale data is located so you do not need to track multiple databases and which one you have open.
There are three ways to transfer sales to from the DataLog to ClickFORMS.
These work as they did in prior versions of UAAR. In cells that refer to a DataLog Database number you can enter a "d" or "i" followed by the Database ID or the Index number associated with a sale. You do not need to attach or open a database before using these numbers. When you run ClickFORMS you can immediately type these numbers in to pull sales data from the DataLog.
You can drag one or more sales from the Sales Grid in the DataLog to a ClickFORMS container. The sales will be added to the end of the container.
You can copy one or more sales from the Sales Grid and Paste them into a ClickFORMS Container. This will add the sales to the end of the container. For more control you can use the Edit - Paste Special option in ClickFORMS to choose what form should be used for the Sales. This will give you the option of changing between the one and two page sales forms. For more information see the topic Transferring Sales to ClickFORMS.
With prior version of the UAAR DataLog it was possible to keep sales separated by using multiple databases. However, this could cause confusion when looking for a sale or when working on a report that used sales from multiple databases. The new DataLog gives you folders to divide your sales into logical groups. This allows you to create your own system while still keeping all of your sales data in a single location. For more information see Using the "My Sales" Folder.
