Move ClickFORMS to Another Computer

The easiest way to do this is with a USB or "jump" drive. For this tutorial, we will presume that you know how to use one.

You will need vital numbers from the Registration screen on your old computer in order to complete the installation on a new one. They are found under Help>Registration.

The Serial Number and the Unlocking Number have boxes around them. The Registration Number does not; it is generated as you type in your name. (The registration number below is 3464055).

On the old computer, open your (My) Documents folder and then click on the My UAAR folder. On the menu bar at the top, click Edit > Select All> Edit > Copy. There should be 9 folders that you copy.

Paste the copied files to a USB Drive. (CD or Network Drive can also work-detailed instructions below). Remove the USB from the old computer and insert into the new one.

Following the method for your USB, paste all of the files into the My UAAR folder on the new computer.

Open ClickForms. Click on Help > Registration> Registration tab. Enter the Serial and Unlocking numbers; enter your name exactly as you had previously so the registration numbers match. If they don't, please contact AgWare for assistance.

CD Burner:

1. Copy the files to the CD using the appropriate programs for your computer. After the files are copied to the CD, continue with the same instructions under the USB Drive instructions.

Network Drive:

1. If you have a network set up, you can transfer files from one computer to another or use a shared network drive. If you do not have a network set up, it is probably easiest to use a CD or USB drive to transfer files.
