Copy ClickFORMS & DataLog Files to Another Computer

These instructions are specifically for copying AgWare ClickFORMS and AgWare DataLog files from an existing (source) computer to another/new (destination) computer that does not yet have AgWare installed. The easiest way to do this is with a USB or "jump" drive. For this tutorial, we presume that you know how to use one.

On the source computer, open your (My) Documents folder and then R-click the My UAAR folder.

Paste the copied My UAAR folder to the USB Drive. Next, remove the USB from the source computer and insert it into the destination computer.

Following instructions for opening a directory for your USB as necessary, select, copy, and paste the My UAAR folder into My Documents on the new computer. Your AgWare files are copied to the destination computer.

Both AgWare DataLog and AgWare ClickFORMS can be installed now. Once you have installed and registered the software, you will be able to access your reports and sales.

ALTERNATE DEVICES METHODS

CD Burner:

1. Copy the files to the CD using the appropriate programs for your computer. After the files are copied to the CD, continue with the same instructions under the USB Drive instructions.

Network Drive:

1. If you have a network set up, you can transfer files from one computer to another or use a shared network drive. If you do not have a network set up, it is probably easiest to use a CD, external hard drive, or USB drive to transfer files.
