How Do I change the sale index numbers in my 2005 database before I convert to the 2006 version?

If you do not want to change the sale index number – those sales with indexes already will maintain those values and a historic database number will appear on the converted sales that contains the 2005 database number. A new database number will be created, but you will be able to see the old database number.

Too edit the sale indexes before a conversion, select My Documents > My UAAR > Databases > and double click the database to open it. Double click the Access file.

Access will open and the query named “qryMainFull” will be in view. Double click this file.

Once opened, a sales grid similar to the image below will be in view. Edit sales as necessary and then save the database.
