Organizing the Sales Grid

Select Grid Columns using the Quick Pick List You can organize the sales grid by selecting specific criteria so that the grid shows the information that is important to you.  If you click on the box highlighted by the red square in the picture below, you have the option to show or not show can select or unselect the items you wish to see.

If you want the item to show in the sales grid, simply click on the box on the left of the item that you want to show (make sure there is a check mark in the box) and then click out of the menu.  If you do not want the item to show, click until there is no longer a check mark in the box.

Ordering Columns

Re-order Grid Columns You can also change the order in which the sales grid boxes appear.  If you want to move the Date column so that it is the first box in the grid, simply click on the title bar of the “Date” column and drag it to the location you want it to appear.  Once it is in the location you want it to appear, make sure that there are green arrows appearing in that same location and then drop it. 

Sorting The Grid

You can also sort the columns in the sales grid so that you can locate particular sales quickly.  There are four ways you can sort the grid:  alphabetically, by item, by a customized search, or by multiple criteria.

Alphabetically – To sort alphabetically, you simply click on the title bar of the column of choice.  Keep clicking until it looks the way you want it to be.  You can arrange the column in ascending or descending order.

Filters

 By Item – If you want to sort by item, click on the down arrow at the far right of the title bar and select the item that you wish to sort by. 

 

 

 

 

Customized search – Using the customized search option, you can narrow the search down to a particular word.

 

 

Multiple criteria – This is very handy if you have a lot of sales in one folder.  If you wish to search your sales by county, simply click on the title bar of the county column and drag it to the blank, gray area above the sales grid.  Your sales should now be divided by county.  You can click on the plus (+) sign to the left of the county name and the sales will be shown.  **If you want to go back to the way it was, click on the “County” title bar in the gray area where you moved it to and drag it back to where you want it to be in the grid.
