UAAR DataLog Version 1.4 Release Notes

Download UAAR DataLog Version 1.4.6

The following list contains the primary changes between version 1.4 and 1.3. For a complete list of changes please see the change log.

General Items (all versions)

Move all settings under "My Sales": Some of the UAAR DataLog settings were stored under the user's Application Data folder. This can make it difficult to migrate to a new computer and retain all the settings, including the Database IDs. By moving all of these settings under the "My Sales" folder the setting will move automatically when the My Sales folder is moved.

Allow sale templates to be saved: You can now create multiple sale templates.  Each named template will appear under the "New Sale" button.  With one click you can have a new sale already filled out with default information.  You can find additional information on the help page for Sale Templates.

Save search criteria: After setting up a complicated search you can now save the search criteria.

Display search criteria on reports: When reports are viewed or printed they contain the folder name and/or search criteria that was used to select the data used in the report.

Land list swap tool: A new screen that shows users the old and new land list when editing a sale. This tool looks for matching names and automatically moves the acres from the old list to the new list.

State, County and County Codes are now included: The State, County and County Codes are not predefined in the application. This allows the State and County to be picked from a list. Once the County is selected the County Code will automatically fill in.

Enterprise Specific Items

Optimize attachment downloading: Prior version always downloaded attachments. This version only downloads attachments when specifically asked and shows a progress bar.  When a sale is copied out of the Enterprise Database the attachments will not be downloaded.  Instead a listing of the available attachments will be shown along with a "Download" button to get the attachments from the database.

Fixed error "Parameter @WantUpdate Not Found": This error was caused by connections to the database becoming stale. Database connections are better handled to eliminate this error.

Allow editing of State, County and County Codes lists: The State and County response list tables can now be modified on the server, including the ability to merge and cleanup misspelled counties.
