AgWare ClickFORMS 6.0 License Conversion

When upgrading to AgWare ClickFORMS 6.0, Windows Vista users may see an error message when registering the software.  The following utility will reset the license directory to the correct location, fixing the error.

To reset your license directory:

  1. Click here: Reset License Directory
  2. When Prompted to Save or Run choose "Run."
  3. After the program is downloaded you may need to click on "Run" or "Allow" two more times.
  4. Once the program opens you will see a screen with one button titled "Reset License Directory".  Click on that button. Reset License Directory Utility Screenshot
  5. The Utility will exit.  You should now be able to start AgWare ClickFORMS and register the software.  In some cases your old registration will be copied and the software will open without needing to re-enter your registration information.

 

Converting from 2000 to 2006

The UAAR 2006 DataLog will convert old databases from UAAR 2003-2005. If you have a UAAR 2000-2002 database, you will need to convert it to the UAAR 2005 first and then to UAAR 2006.

You can download the conversion tool to convert from 2000 to 2005 here: UAAR 2000 DataLog Converter Setup.exe. 

A screen will come up asking if you want to "Run" or "Save" - click on "Run".  Another screen may come up that looks like the following image.  Click on "Run".

Next, the UAAR 2000 DataLog Converter Setup will come up.  Click through the "Next" buttons.

Finally, click on "Install" and then "Finish" to complete the installation process.  The UAAR 2000 DataLog Converter 2.6 will open after to click on "Finish". 

To start the conversion process, click on the "Locate" button for "Old DataLog File" and find the 2000 database you want to convert and click on "Open". 

Then click on the "Locate" button for "New DataLog Dir" and go to My Documents.  In the "File Name" box at the bottom, enter "UAAR 2000 DataLog" and then click on "Save".   

Now click on "Convert".  A screen will come up letting you know when it is finished converting the files. Click on "OK" and then on "Exit". 

Your UAAR 2000 DataLog has been converted to UAAR 2005!  Now to convert from UAAR 2005 to UAAR 2006, please see the UAAR 2006 Release Notes.
